Evaluation of impact assessments
Starting 1 September 2006, the Institute will be publishing evaluations of impact assessments made in process of regulatory policy development, focusing in particular on the earlier stages of the assessment process. These evaluations will be undertaken within the time frame of the relevant policy development process - not ex post, when the regulatory horse has already bolted - and will be published on these pages.
Better regulation awards
Commencing April 2007, the Institute's Better Government Programme (BGP) will be holding an annual lunch and award ceremony to recognise the achievements of those who have made substantial contributions to the improvement of public policy-making processes and outcomes over the last year. Award categories and information about the nomination and assessment processes will be posted on this page on or before 1 October 2006.
